Abstract

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes to the way Muslims interact with the Quran. While information technology has facilitated access to Quranic texts, interpretations, and translations, it has also presented serious challenges such as the spread of inauthentic interpretations, the manipulation of verses, and the decline in the etiquette of recitation and tadabbur. This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of Quranic study in the digital era through a descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that digitizing the Quran can strengthen Islamic literacy if accompanied by source verification and guidance from scholars. Integrating technology and scientific ethics is key to maintaining authenticity and relevance in Quranic study in the digital era.

Abstrak

Era digital membawa perubahan besar terhadap cara umat Islam berinteraksi dengan Al-Qur’an. Teknologi informasi telah memudahkan akses terhadap teks, tafsir, dan terjemahan Al-Qur’an, namun juga menghadirkan tantangan serius seperti penyebaran tafsir tidak otentik, manipulasi ayat, serta menurunnya adab tilawah dan tadabbur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peluang dan tantangan kajian Al-Qur’an di era digital melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi Al-Qur’an dapat memperkuat literasi keislaman jika diimbangi dengan verifikasi sumber dan bimbingan ulama. Integrasi antara teknologi dan etika keilmuan menjadi kunci agar studi Al-Qur’an di era digital tetap otentik dan relevan.
