Abstract
This study explains the importance of fostering a sense of unity, caring, and mutual respect in Islamic boarding schools through Islamic values. The study was conducted at Al Jihadiyyah Islamic Boarding School with the involvement of the management as participants. The aim was to determine how hadith lessons influence the interactions and character formation of students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and falls under the category of field research. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that students who study and practice the values of hadith become more respectful, cooperative, and caring toward others. Therefore, the teaching of hadith at the boarding school is effective in strengthening Islamic brotherhood among the students. This study concludes that the teaching of hadith at the Al Jihadiyyah Islamic Boarding School is effective in building Islamic brotherhood and shaping the character of students. The value of brotherhood is instilled through contextual learning and routine activities at the boarding school, with teachers playing an important role as role models. Despite challenges such as exclusive attitudes, the integration of hadith into the curriculum and boarding school culture has proven to strengthen solidarity, responsibility, and the moral character of students.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini menjelaskan pentingnya menumbuhkan rasa persatuan, kepedulian, dan saling menghormati di Pondok melalui nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian dilakukan di Ponpes Al Jihadiyyah dengan melibatkan Pengurus sebagai partisipan. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelajaran hadits memengaruhi interaksi dan pembentukan karakter para santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan termasuk dalam jenis penelitian lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa santri yang mempelajari dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai hadits menjadi lebih menghormati, bekerja sama, dan peduli terhadap sesama. Oleh karena itu, pengajaran hadits di pondok efektif dalam memperkuat ukhuwah Islamiyah di kalangan santri. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ajaran hadits di Pondok Pesantren Al Jihadiyyah efektif membangun ukhuwah Islamiyah dan membentuk karakter santri. Nilai ukhuwah ditanamkan melalui pembelajaran kontekstual dan aktivitas rutin pondok, dengan peran penting guru sebagai teladan. Meski terdapat tantangan seperti sikap eksklusif, integrasi hadits dalam kurikulum dan budaya pondok terbukti memperkuat solidaritas, tanggung jawab, dan akhlak santri.
